This retinol treatment is true to its name and was incredibly gentle on my skin.

It is great for sensitive skin experiencing inflammation including acne-prone skin. 

After 3+ months with The Ordinary’s NMF + Phytoceramides, it proved far more hydrating and dewier than NMF + HA. Phytoceramides, added emollients, and double humectants (PCA, sodium lactate, urea, HA) kept my dry skin comfy all winter without greasiness. It absorbs well, leaves a subtle glow, and is vegan, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic. Only con: higher price and 100 ml only. Excellent for barrier repair and cold weather.

The hype behind this product is worth it, and I understand why it has become such a cult favorite.
